Where: DCR Horseneck Beach State Reservation John Reed Road Westport, MA
When: Sunday May 18, 2025
Start Time: Half: 9:00AM; 3.5M: 9:15AM; Course will be closed by 12:30PM
What: 13.1 and 3.5 miles of stunning scenery with a spectacular, ocean-side finish!
The race is sanctioned by USA Track and Field - Sanction #: TBD
Registration Details
Registration for the 2025 Horseneck Half and 3.5M will open on December 1, 2024
The Half will be limited to the first 1500 participants.
The 3.5M will be limited to the first 400 participants.
Registration Fees (includes transaction fee):
Early Registration: December 1, 2024 – January 31, 2025: Half – $95; 3.5M – $45
Legacy Registration*: December 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024: Half – $85; 3.5M – $40
Regular Registration: February 1, 2025 – March 31, 2025: Half – $110; 3.5M – $50
Late Registration: April 1, 2025 - May 15, 2025: Half - $115; 3.5M - $55
Race Weekend: Half - $125; 3.5M - $55
Race weekend registration will be available from 11:00AM-3:00PM on Saturday May 17, 2025 at Westport River Winery or at Horseneck Beach on Sunday from 7:30AM-8:45AM. Please come early!

Race numbers and shirts may be picked up at Westport River Winery on Saturday May 17, 2025 between 11:00am - 3:00pm or at Horseneck State Beach on race day beginning at 7:30am.
All runners will receive a 13.1% discount off any any purchases from their wine store. So come down early and enjoy Westport before the race!

Emergency Services
EMS personnel will be located at each Water Stop throughout the course and at the start/finish area in the event you need medical assistance.
Road Closure
This is an open course with the exception of the start and the finishing stretch along the ocean. So while there will be police at all intersections, the roads are officially open to vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Please use caution and stay to the right hand side of the road during the race
Safety

All volunteers will be required to sign a Volunteer Liability Waiver which is required by USA Track and Field.

Sustainability
Here at New England Race Events, we strive to make our race more sustainable through recycling and other activities that reduce our carbon footprint. We have been working with Athletes for a Fit Planet to enact key elements of their Pledge of Sustainability. One such element is to reduce the waste generated by the event and recycle as much material as possible.
There is no rain date for this race. Race management reserves the right to modify, shorten, or cancel the race in the case of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances that make the race unsafe (this includes COVID).
In the event the race is cancelled then all entries will be automatically deferred to the 2025 race date.
There will be no refunds in the event of cancellation.
Race Cancellation Policy
There are no refunds or transfers, however, entry fees may be deferred until the following year’s event but only if we receive notification in writing on or before May 1, 2025.
